Unique wooden facade makes factory a true eye-catcher

EromesMarko’s headquarters has undergone a real transformation. The company, which creates innovative educational environments, has three production locations in the Netherlands. The factory in Wijchen, located next to the main office, was originally built in 1967. After the building had already been extended multiple times throughout the years, it now required a full renovation. Architect Martijn de Waal (DUAL architects) designed a factory building in which sustainability is a key factor – both inside and out.

Hollander Barendrecht, filiale de The Greenery, veille chaque jour à l’approvisionnement en produits frais et surgelés de nombreux supermarchés néerlandais. Un nouveau centre de distribution de produits frais a vu le jour en 2008. Un bâtiment qui, plus de dix ans plus tard, n’a pas pris une ride grâce à une conception ingénieuse et un usage intelligent de matériaux durables.

Beukenhof Wijbosch - Natural appearance of facades anchors new residential development in the surrounding landscape

The owners of the new homes in this project in the grounds of the former Sint-Servatius church in Wijbosch, Brabant recently opened their front doors for the first time. The project has transformed the former church and other buildings into a residential development named De Beukenhof. The stand-out feature of the homes is their rugged, contemporary architecture that seamlessly weaves the new into the fabric of the existing landscape thanks to its clever and original use of natural materials.

In de gemeente Celles-en-Hainaut kunnen de bewoners sinds februari 2019 sporten, dansen of yoga beoefenen in een splinternieuwe sporthal, met een uiterlijk dat zich duidelijk onderscheidt van de rest. Wat dit complex zo uniek maakt? De gevel van het gebouw en de Rockpanel Woods-panelen waarmee hij bekleed is. De gevelpanelen blinken uit door de variatie die ze creëren, zowel qua kleur als dimensies.
